            Zonta Z Tee Off Golf Outing, June 16, 2011

As Chair of the golf outing for this year, I would like to offer a huge thank you to the Z Tee Off committee for all their hard work. I also want to thank all the members who volunteered, donated and participated. We couldn’t have done it without you! The Grand Traverse Resort was a great venue – we played on the Wolverine course. It was a really fun event – everyone seemed to have a great time, and the weather actually cooperated (after lots of anti-rain dances and maybe some help from prayers carried over from the Carmelite outing that was held at the Resort the day before). We had 76 golfers. Dinner afterwards was great and lots of excitement when the awards and prizes were given out. After a quick review, it looks like we will net around $7,000 for Zonta’s service fund. We don’t have all the bills yet, so this is definitely just an estimate.

Again, thanks to all of you for helping make the Z Tee Off a successful event this year!
